There has been a major paradigm shift in research uncovering First Nations societies in Australia recently. I'm thinking of the evidence of farming practices which challenge the dominant thinking that they were solely hunter-gatherer societies. There's been some robust debate in the research community about the significance of these findings - but unfortunately, a lot of culture warriors jumping on board to twist the narrative to their own agenda.

Anyway, thanks for this write-up, I learned a lot!
