Earlier in the pandemic, I read several stories covering the similarities between long covid and other post-acute viral infections. The point was that this terrible situation could be an opportunity to better treat lots of post-viral conditions.

The worst thing that could happen is let bad actors (like responsibility-shirking insurers and, I'm sorry to say, some public health officials) bury everyone's heads in the sand!
